Standex Electronics Amran Instrument Transformers is a leading manufacturer of Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Instrument Transformers (Current and Voltage Transformers) with multiple manufacturing plants in USA and India. Amran's product portfolio includes standard products as well as numerous custom products specifically designed and developed for OEM specific equipment. Amran's Instrument Transformer products have been installed in over 50 countries around the world.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing key accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining cost control measures, and supporting operational efficiency through insightful financial analysis.

What You'll Do



  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
  • Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, inventory valuations, and product cost variances.
  • Coordinate and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and file tax returns (GST, TDS, income tax, etc.) and support audits (internal, statutory, and tax).
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and operations to ensure accurate costing and financial insights.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Support ERP system improvements and accounting software implementation/upgrades.



What You'll Bring



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent preferred.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks,) and MS Excel.
