Genesis10 is currently looking for a Project Manager with PBM or Healthcare experience for a 6+ month project for a client in Eagan MN. 100% remote

Summary:

The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
  • Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
  • Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
  • Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
  • Direct, review and approve product designs and changes.
  • Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.

This Sr PM will support 2 strategic projects/programs (25-50% on one, 50-75% on the other) for this contract. A standard Sr. PM description is probably fine for general PM sills (normal PM ask for managing scope, schedule, budget + RAID, stakeholder, communication, status, financial management through the project lifecycles).

Ideally this PM would have strong PM skills. IT dev/infrastructure project management experience is needed. Experience working with org change management will be helpful as one of the projects will impact a very large team and they will need active communication, training, buy-in, etc. Some vendor management is ideal. Bonus if they have worked on an AI project.

Here is a little info on the projects they would come in to work on:

Project 1 has been in flight for 2.5 years and has about 6 months remaining. They have managed without a PM "off the side of their desk" but now want part of a PM to help monitor and manage financials, report status, manage RAID items, and ensure we are staying on track for end of year delivery. There is vendor work on this project, and it has a business and IT component (Commercial Rebates business and IT teams)

Project 2 is newer but already started so we need to get PM engaged quickly to get it going and organized. This project would work with our Medical Pharmacy team. This team is going to do the first Use Case for using AI to streamline their work. They will be working with the AI vendor that client is using and working with to stand up our Artificial Intelligence functionality versus our AI Foundation program (dependency).

Qualifications:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.
  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • 8-10 years experience required.

Compensation:

Hourly W2 pay rate $55.00 to $59.00/Hour

We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
