Compounding Pharmacy Technician
Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. As a key support to the pharmacist, you'll play an essential role in delivering high-quality care and ensuring our patients receive accurate medications in a timely manner. Whether you're an experienced tech or newer to the field and looking to grow, this is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-focused setting. What You'll Do:
Rendering professional clinical care within the medical practice under physician direction.
Managing a high-turnover patient schedule for allergy injections.
Ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient records are maintained.
Supporting the general upkeep and organization of the Allergy Clinic.
Demonstrating a strong understanding of insurance processes, particularly for repeat and high-volume patients.
Maintaining a high level of detail, precision, and accuracy in all tasks.
Being willing and able to learn all aspects of the Allergy Department, including:
Maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
Managing an independent schedule of patients and functioning with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Active Pharmacy Technician license or registration (required per state regulations).
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) is a plus.
Prior experience in a pharmacy setting (retail, hospital, or clinic) is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Familiarity with pharmacy software and prescription processing systems is a plus.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires frequent sitting and standing, walking, some lifting of patients, stooping and bending. Assist patients in wheel chairs. Requires phone communication, data entry and working at a computer for periods of time.
