Compounding Pharmacy Technician Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing customized medications to meet unique patient needs. You'll work alongside experienced pharmacists and fellow technicians in a clean, supportive, and compliant environment dedicated to safety, accuracy, and excellence. Key Responsibilities: Prepare sterile and/or non-sterile compounded medications according to prescriptions and established protocols. Measure, mix, and label ingredients precisely, ensuring accuracy and adherence to USP <795> guidelines. Maintain cleanroom and workspaces to comply with safety and sanitation standards. Accurately complete compounding logs, batch records, and quality documentation. Collaborate team members to ensure product quality and patient safety. Manage compounding inventory, including tracking, receiving, and organizing supplies. What We're Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent (required); Pharmacy Technician certification or licensure (required based on state laws). Experience in compounding (preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate). Familiarity with USP standards (<795>, <797>, and/or <800>). Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safe, precise work. Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and contribute to a team environment. Basic computer skills and experience with pharmacy systems (preferred). PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires frequent sitting and standing, walking, some lifting of patients, stooping and bending. Assist patients in wheelchairs. Requires phone communication, data entry and working at a computer for periods of time.
