Mid-Kansas ENT is seeking a dedicated Allergy Manager to oversee the daily operations and strategic development of our expanding high-volume Allergy Department. This is a unique opportunity to lead a vital team in a fast-paced environment that serves hundreds of patients each day.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Allergy Department, including staffing, patient scheduling, inventory, and patient flow.
  • Lead the strategic development of a growing department by identifying opportunities for improvement, increasing efficiency, and implementing best practices.
  • Provide professional, compassionate allergy-related care including injections, testing, and serum preparation.
  • Maintain detailed patient records, monitor insurance coverage, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and administrative staff to ensure seamless care.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the allergy team and clinic leadership, reporting directly to the Practice Administrator.



Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Certified Medical Assistant (required)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a medical practice setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of allergy protocols, emergency response, and injection procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently



Physical & Working Requirements:

  • Lift up to 100 lbs+ (assisted); push up to 200 lbs+
  • Stand up to 75% of the time; walking, bending, squatting up to 25%
  • Must wear a uniform; frequent use of protective gear (gloves, mask, goggles, gown)
  • Frequent exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and medical-grade chemicals
  • Able to handle delicate instruments and perform precise tasks under pressure



Preferred Skills:

  • Experience mixing allergy serums and managing a high-turnover patient schedule
  • Familiarity with insurance processes and allergy testing protocols
  • Confident using Electronic Health Records (EHR)
  • Proven ability to lead a small team and maintain a collaborative, patient-first work culture
