About the Role

The Maintenance Mechanic role is a challenging opportunity for an individual interested inproviding skilled general maintenance duties to include maintenance for machines, building and property with help and/or oversight from more advanced Mechanics.

Your Key Responsibilities



  • Limited electrical troubleshooting, repair and installation of motor controls, fuses, and circuit breakers, etc.
  • Trouble shoot, maintain repair, and install complex machinery using PLC's, air, hydraulics, motors, bearings, etc.
  • Fabricate production equipment, fixtures, support frames, benches, shelving, etc. Welding and fabrication skills preferred
  • Schedule and perform detailed preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment
  • Follow manufacture recommended procedures to successfully keep our equipment in world class condition
  • Limited Repair and installation of pipes and plumbing that carry gas, water, vacuum, air, or misc. hydraulic oils
  • Limited repair and installation of electrical wiring in facility for low & high voltage (includes computer & phone lines)
  • Repair, and improve facility buildings grounds and equipment
  • Refurbish production equipment, detailed cleaning, painting, replace worn parts, calibrate to make machines in a "like new condition"
  • Track and create own work orders using software applications


Required Qualifications



  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • 0-3 years' related experience
  • Trade Jobs, Preferred Two-year degree or Technical Certificate


Desired Qualifications



  • Ability to work independently
  • Self-motivated, with a desire to have a long successful career in maintenance.
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Forklift or scissor lift experience
