Together, we're rising to the challenge of tackling some of healthcare's most complex problems with technology-forward solutions. Datavanters bring a diversity of professional, educational and life experiences to realize our bold vision for healthcare.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a Salesforce Solutions Architect to lead the design of scalable, maintainable, and high-impact solutions across our Salesforce platform. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams-including product, engineering, business operations, and external partners-to architect solutions that meet business needs while aligning with long-term technical strategy. You'll serve as the bridge between business goals and Salesforce's capabilities, helping shape our roadmap, ensure system integrity, and drive platform maturity.

You are a strategic thinker and hands-on problem solver with deep Salesforce expertise and a strong understanding of how technology can enable business transformation. You balance architectural vision with real-world constraints and enjoy working across disciplines to craft sustainable, high-quality solutions. You're collaborative, adaptable, and excited to build for scale.

What You Will Do

  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable, well-architected Salesforce implementations.
  • Guide the use of declarative vs. programmatic solutions based on trade-offs, scalability, and future maintenance.
  • Collaborate with developers, admins, and project managers to deliver end-to-end solutions from concept to execution.
  • Own technical architecture documentation and ensure alignment to platform best practices and data model standards.
  • Evaluate and recommend Salesforce features, emerging technologies, and 3rd-party applications to improve the platform.
  • Support cross-system integrations, including APIs, middleware, and third-party systems.
  • Maintain awareness of platform security, sharing rules, and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Mentor developers and admins on design patterns, platform limits, and implementation strategy.
  • Contribute to the definition of a Salesforce roadmap that supports business scalability and automation.

What You Need to Succeed

  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions in mid- to large-scale environments.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience), Lightning, Apex, SOQL, and Flows.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling, security, sharing, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to lead technical design sessions and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP) and external system architecture.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Application Architect, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant).
  • A track record of success in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
  • Experience in architecting for a complex evolving business (multi-org, multi-business, M&A, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain trade-offs and influence decisions.

What Helps You Stand Out

  • Salesforce Solution Architect certification or progress toward CTA.
  • Experience with CPQ, Data Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tooling and agile delivery frameworks (e.g., Jira, ADO).
  • Prior experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services.
  • Experience using or integrating with AI capabilities in Salesforce (e.g., Einstein).
  • Participation in the Salesforce community (events, forums, certifications).
