JOB SUMMARY

Set-up, clean and maintain service of dish area. Ensuring tabletop-glassware/flatware/plates and kitchen pots/pans are clean, along with kitchen sanitation, trash and other assigned areas


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance of dish area, ensuring machine is working properly for washing of table top and kitchen pots/ pans.
  2. Must always be well groomed and in proper uniform and hat.
  3. Thorough understanding of dish machine maintenance and operation for optimal use.
  4. Knowledge on chemicals used in machine and in kitchen with proper handling.
  5. Able to understand MSDS sheets and follow safety procedures.
  6. Responsible for keeping all BOH areas clean and clutter free, including sweeping, moping, drain cleaning, polishing, etc.
  7. Monitors and empties all trash and recycling.
  8. Preparation of other items as needed.
  9. Support of and participation in recycling and sanitation programs.
