Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiogram exams using a variety of ultrasound equipment.
• Exams are performed in a professional manner demonstrating technical accuracy and cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record appropriate anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images.
• Maintains ultrasound equipment and work areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• Registered in Adult Echocardiography.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) via the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
