Opportunity at a Glance
Reporting to the Chief Talent Officer, the Director of Talent Strategy and Business Partnership is responsible for supporting business growth through execution of our talent strategy and fostering a high-performing, inclusive organizational culture. This role involves participating in creating and implementing end-to-end talent programs and initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent. The Director will also track metrics to measure talent ROI and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Talent Strategy: Develop and implement end-to-end talent management strategies, specifically around talent assessment, succession planning, performance management, onboarding, and coaching.
- Performance Management: Support the creation of a robust performance management system that aligns employee performance with organizational goals, ensuring continuous feedback and development. Help create and implement modalities to drive performance management at the team level. Develop and execute a change management plan to support adoption of performance management system.
- Talent Review & Succession Planning: Support the development of the talent review processes to identify high-potential employees, create succession plans for key leadership roles and drive differentiation in colleague development investments.
- Colleague career pathing and talent rotation: Support the development of career pathing and talent rotation programs and planning. Develop and execute a change management plan to implement these programs.
- Impact Council: Provide support for Adtalem Impact Council ongoing activities and key initiatives and adhoc support for ERGs
- End-to-end employee experience: Identify and execute initiatives to build an end-to-end employee experience with curated "moments that matter" to drive retention and employee engagement
- Metrics & Evaluation: Track talent development KPIs to measure effectiveness and impact on business outcomes
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Master's Degree Organization Development or related field preferred
- 7+ years in talent management or human resources required
- 3+ years in a professional services or management consulting environment required
- Expertise in contemporary HR and talent management models, strategic thinking, and experience with succession management and high-potential talent development.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and influence across the organization.
- StrategicThinking: Ability to connect business strategy with talent management outcomes. Stays ahead of trends in talent management practices and infuses best practice into talent solutions for the organization.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across the organization.
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $100,172.00 and $181,034.75. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
