Staffmark is seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives for a top-tier company in the fiber optics industry. Schedule: 7am - 5pm Key Responsibilities: Lead and enhance company-wide safety and environmental programs Deliver safety training and ensure OSHA compliance across the board Investigate incidents, analyze safety trends, and drive preventive measures Oversee workers' compensation and regulatory compliance Conduct facility and job site inspections to identify and mitigate hazards Manage safety documentation systems and compliance tracking Represent safety interests in client pre-bid meetings and develop HASPs Qualifications: 7-10 years' experience in safety management, EHS, or OSHA compliance Industry background in utilities, fiber optics, or telecommunications preferred Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety training best practices Skilled in Microsoft Office and safety tracking systems Excellent leadership, communication, and root cause analysis skills Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites This is a direct hire position with benefits offered by our client including affordable medical and dental coverage, along with some of the most competitive salaries in the industry.
