  • Maintain current knowledge of industry safety trends and organizational policies through ongoing education. Participates in on-site safety meetings, cand takes personal accountability for following all recommended practices to ensure workplace safety compliance.
  • Sole point of contact for maintenance during performances.

  • Responds quickly and efficiently to requests and embraces collaborative communication between front and back of house with minimal interruption to services

  • Fire and life safety system preventative maintenance, electric fire protection, VESDA sensors, Hydronic Suppression.

  • Enters accurate and timely data into the CMMS systems, responds to work order requests and submits accurate notes and information.

  • Works with respect and compliance to all city, state, and federal license and certification requirements.

  • Completes work and acts in accordance with established customer expectations as well as P1 Service standards.

  • Communicates with client and other facility occupants to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Ability to oversee and work on utility distribution equipment as needed.

  • Complies with all company policies and procedures and adheres to client and P1 Service standards.

  • Operation of Building Management Systems to include JCI Metasys.

  • Assist in the Chief Engineers and/or managements monitoring of energy consumption across the facilities. They support the Chief Engineers and/or management need to collect, analyze, and report on energy usage data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for conservation. This role involves maintaining and manipulating the mechanical systems to optimize consumption.

  • Participate in new electrical and mechanical installations.

  • Complete requests for purchasing and make approved purchases on behalf of facilities team.

  • Participates in personal professional growth and completes training as required.

  • Is required to be on call on a rotating basis to provide assistance as well as emergency response to the facility.

  • May be required to participate in snow removal or other external grounds maintenance as needed and required.

  • Performs other duties as assigned and qualified to perform.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Regular days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with potential for on-call or variations of schedule to accommodate different events.

Travel

Local travel to sites or offices may be required.

Required Education and Experience

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.

  1. Minimum 3 years of facility maintenance experience required.

  1. Valid state motor vehicle operator's license (Class E if Missouri).

  1. Must obtain a CFC Universal certification for safe handling of refrigerants.

  1. Ability to read schematics and blueprints.

  1. Fire and life safety experience.

  1. Understanding of airflow/waterflow.

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  1. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  1. Have or be able to obtain backflow certification within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Building trade certification preferred.

  1. 5 years of experience in facility maintenance preferred.

  1. Metasys building systems experience preferred.

  1. Class A Operators License Preferred.

  1. Current backflow certification preferred.
