Purpose/Scope:



  • Lead and develop coworkers within the area of responsibility
  • Communicate effectively with people in different positions in the organization
  • Plan work and allocate the co-workers for the optimal productivity while achieving daily goals
  • Assign work for warehouse co-workers
  • Evaluate training needs, coach and develop co-workers when necessary
  • Train coworkers to perform tasks
  • Follow-up to insure SOP's are followed and goals met
  • Monitor progress of work and adjust plan accordingly



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:



  • 1-3 years of related leadership experience, preferably in a warehouse environment
  • Computer literate - High degree of computer use
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (SAP WM is a plus)
  • Able to effectively communicate by email, in person, or by phone
  • Customer focused


  • Detail oriented with a strong sense of urgency
  • Good analytical, follow through and organizational skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Ability to lead a team to complete assignments on time and to standard
  • A general interest in peopleto motivate, coach and develop co-workers
  • Proven analytical, organization, strategic, tactical and time management skills
  • Ability to be a strong leader and team player
  • A passion for Tennant's values and principles and re-enforcing our values and principles with your team.
  • Ability to frequently move or handle merchandise up to 40 pounds including bending, stretching, reaching and lifting on a regular basis.
  • Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities under stress of deadlines
  • Ability to work varied hours/days as needed by the location
  • Manage Teams to increase efficiency of DC
  • Assures adherence to Tennant's policies and procedures
  • Perform administrative duties determined by the Operations Supervisor
  • Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned
  • Motivate and inspire your Team to achieve great results


Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $49,800 - 74,900 Annualized
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
