PRIMARY FUNCTION The position of Logistics Analyst III focuses on but is not limited to, the preparation, analysis, review, and update of acquisition logistics documents, plans, and studies supporting significant program events or milestones from initial program design, through life-cycle sustainment and disposal analyses that address each of the Twelve (12) Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements to help minimize the total cost of ownership to the customer. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Direct the activities of applicable stakeholders to conduct focused strategic planning and analysis for all phases of life-cycle management. * Coordinate with Technical Design Activities (TDAs), vendors, logisticians, and engineers to define initial and revised acquisition and supportability requirements for developmental programs and rapid capability planning. * Identify and update initial requirements and analysis for systems/equipment designs from an operational, supportability, and resourcing perspective utilizing variables such as functional capabilities, physical attributes, environmental conditions, and other design characteristics. * Establish and assist in the planning, development, coordination, and execution of required milestone documentation to fully support given program of record or project systems initiatives including: * Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs) * Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs) * Product Support Assessments (PSAs) * Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) * Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) * Manpower predictions * Maintenance support plans * Supply support management plans * Reliability and Maintainability data predictions * Logistic Management Information (LMI) * Equipment / Facility Requirements predictions * Spares Analyses * Expert use of software: Excel, PowerLog-J (1 and 2), Acrobat Adobe Pro, COMPASS, and scriptable supportability software such as SLICwave, Eagle, and other logistics automated systems. * Provide logistics management and support operations tailored to a specific customer for either Acquisition or Redesign/Reconfiguration Contract efforts. * Produce and deliver ILSP presentation material for Program management review at Technical Interchange / Information Meeting (TIM), System Readiness Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR) milestones. * Maintain an Integrated Development Environment (IDE), including file version control utilizing Subversion (SVN) and SharePoint. * Expert in analyzing and reading engineering drawings and vendor data for Logistics Analysis purposes. * Proficient in reading and understanding project documentation such as SOWs, schedules, and standards that pertain to assigned projects. * Assist peers regarding Logistics Analysis techniques, software, etc. through various training mediums. * The Logistics Analyst III may be required to perform other related duties as necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities. This position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: * Thorough understanding of Life Cycle Logistics regulations and policies, including DoD 5000 series, AR 70-1, AR 700-127, and AR 700-142. * Advanced knowledge of Logistics standards: GEIA-STD-0007, MIL-STD-1388-2B, and SAE AS1390. * Strong analytical skills. Must be able to interpret large amounts of data and isolate pertinent information and facts. * Ability to enter data accurately into databases. * Ability to write complex reports and correspondence. * Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. * Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements. * Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service, and follow-up. * Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and consider decision impact across multiple areas with limited information in high-stress situations and environments. * Strong decision analysis and problem-solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Must be able to communicate issues to management and regulatory agencies. * Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Yulista Services, LLC goals. * Ability to effectively multi-task. QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university, ten years of practical experience in developing LSA reports, MTA/LORA analysis, and at least ten years of direct life-cycle logistics related experience in higher-level IPS analyses and reports. * DAWIA Certification Level III for Life Cycle Logistics or equivalent. * Six years Acquisition Logistics experience a plus, including some of the following, * Condition/Performance-Based Life-Cycle Product Support * Supportability Concepts * Supportability Analysis * Capabilities-Based Assessment (CBA) * Exposure to DoD acquisition and sustainment processes a plus. * Ability to maintain a government security clearance * Ability to pass background and drug screening PREFERENCE STATEMENT Preference will be given to Calista shareholders and their descendants and to spouses of Calista shareholders, and to shareholders of other corporations created pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, in accordance with Title 43 U.S. Code 1626(g).
