*Position Overview:* We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Financial Services Representative. In this role, you will support patients with payment processing and account inquiries, while ensuring accurate financial documentation and compliance with internal procedures.
*Key Responsibilities:* * Assist patients with payment collection and general account questions in a courteous and professional manner * Process and reconcile daily payments received at the cashier's office and other departments * Accurately post payments (credit cards, eChecks, etc.) to patient accounts or payment systems * Manage petty cash disbursements and maintain accurate documentation * Complete daily reconciliation tasks and maintain compliance with work queues * Provide support to visitors and patients, addressing concerns and inquiries with empathy and efficiency * Perform other administrative duties as assigned *Required Qualifications:* * High school diploma or equivalent * Minimum of one year of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, business office, case management, or social work * Certified Application Counselor designation (or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire) *Preferred Qualifications:* * Experience using Epic or similar electronic health record systems * Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel * Experience in social work or case management * Bachelor's degree in social work, healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field *Key Skills:* * Medical billing and collections * Cash handling and reconciliation * Customer service and communication * Payment processing (credit cards, eChecks) * Familiarity with Epic and Microsoft Office Suite *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
