The Supervisor Service Operations is primarily responsible for communicating, planning, motivating and providing direction and leadership to a work unit within their division that provides day-to-day, tactical execution and implementation of operational plans.
This position is accountable for achieving business results through the application of effective leadership and management processes and the work is guided by the Company's management philosophy.
The majority of incumbents' time is spent on providing daily direction, expertise and guidance, coaching and oversight to direct and indirect reports. The majority of direct reports are non-exempt, production-oriented employees in operational areas such as claims, provider credentialing, provider contact center, provider enrollment, appeals, prior authorization, or the mailroom.

Management (90%)
* Engage direct reports and all others in alignment with the Company's culture. * Directly manage and support a team of direct reports by providing leadership, direction, establishing expectations and goals, setting objectives and priorities, defining roles and responsibilities within the organization, reviewing performance, identifying training needs and providing skills or knowledge training.
* Provide coaching, feedback, and support for maximizing team member experience, performance and growth.
* Interview and select the best candidates expected to be successful in open positions.
* Prepare appropriate written communications for direct reports including documentation of job goals, performance plans and evaluations, significant events, written coaching or corrective actions, termination documentation, and partnering regularly with support resources including Human Resources.
* Comply with all applicable employment laws including laws against discrimination, harassment and retaliation, and comply with all wage and hour and timekeeping laws.
* Address Payroll, Timekeeping and Human Resources issues.
* Create and deploy training material when necessary.
* Examine and assess workloads and key performance metrics, which may include planning, assigning, and allocating resources
Compliance (5%)
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, legislative, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and company requirements and commitments. * Analyze internal processes for compliance to regulatory and enterprise requirements.
Projects and Ad Hoc Reporting (5%)
* Support company culture and initiatives through effective management, staffing, monitoring/evaluation, and timely accurate implementation of change. * Manage business and public relationships and situations to obtain better business outcomes; communicate effectively and coordinate with others; Provide information in a timely/accurate manner to the appropriate stakeholders.
Performs other duties as the supervisor may, from time to time, deem necessary.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* High School Diploma or GED
* 2 years' related work experience. This includes 1 years' direct supervisory/project management lead or other leadership experience.
* Demonstrated interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.
* Demonstrated proficiency with PC skills; e.g., Word, Outlook and Calendar.
* Demonstrated experience in planning, organizing resources, delegating, performance management and conflict resolution.
* Demonstrated proficiency in analytical, decision-making, problem-solving and coordination skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's Degree
* Supervisory experience in healthcare service operations or production environment
* 3 or more years of directly related work experience
* Experience in leading projects and/or workgroups Requirements
The Federal Government and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) may require applicants to have lived in the United States for a minimum of three (3) years out of the last five (5) years to be employed with the Company. These years of residence do not have to be consecutive.
