Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within the scope of practice, coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient's needs are met in accordance with Professional Standards of Practice through Physician Orders, Facility Policies and Procedures, and Federal, State and Local Regulations. This LTC LPN position is a staff position that has direct care responsibilities as well as supervisor responsibility for the unit and nursing assistants. CULTURE OF EXCELLENCE BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following behavior expectations: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Graduate of an accredited LPN Program. Experience in Long Term Care is preferred. CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE Licensed Practical Nurse with current unencumbered state licensure in state of practice. Current BLS/CPR Certification is required within 90 days ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
