Job Summary The Senior Manager, Marketing (Biopharma) is responsible for collaborating on the US health care practitioner (HCP) professional and/or patient strategy & execution of tactics, and as need, some non-personal and personal promotional tactics. The role engages closely with cross-functional partners and is responsible for driving HCP and/or patient engagement and utilization of our Biopharma portfolio through the development of promotional tactics and initiatives for the sales force. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the successful launch and growth of Fresenius Kabi's Biopharma offerings, helping grow Fresenius Kabi's overall Biopharma business, a key priority focus area for the company.

This is a hybrid position, and the selected candidate will be required to work onsite in the Lake Zurich, Illinois office 3 days a week.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $165,000 per year. Position is eligible to participate in a bonus plan with a target of 14% of the base salary.   • Work with cross functional teams (e.g. global marketing, regulatory, legal, medical communications, medical, market research, market access, sales operations, and sales training teams).
  • Work, under guidance of Marketing Director and in partnership with other Biopharma marketers, on development of the brand strategy for the Biopharma portfolio, including launch preparedness.
  • Drive development of stakeholder-specific messaging to drive customer awareness and engagement.
  • Successfully drive development, implementation, and evolution of new and existing HCP promotional, non-personal, and digital materials, coordinating with relevant cross-functional partners to optimize based on key learnings and insights.
  • Manage day-to-day HCP and/or patient budget related to workstreams and ensures on-time delivery within budget.
  • Drive development of selling tools for the sales force and coordinate with training, including developing select sales training materials, to ensure all field account managers are trained, providing appropriate direction to sales training and the sales organization.
  • Work as one of the brand liaisons with the sales force, including leading the Field Advisory Board.
  • Contribute to organization and planning around sales meetings.
  • Demonstrate start-to-finish planning/execution of multichannel and omnichannel digital marketing/CRM programs, including audience and messaging strategy, website, email, emerging media tactics, SEO/SEM, etc.
  • Develop and execute advisory boards and consultant meetings where outputs link to HCP professional and/or patient strategies and tactical development.
  • Develop and lead KOL tactic opportunities where outputs link to HCP strategy and execution, such as KOL speaker programs, management of speaker's bureau and development of speaker decks.
  • Lead congress activities, when applicable.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the future pipeline products and competitive landscape.
  • Establish ways to measure impact, report results, and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Set strategic direction for agencies and manage projects and agencies within time and budget parameters, including measurement and optimization of tactics.
  • Ensure all marketing projects are compliant and have obtained necessary approvals through appropriate Medical, Legal, and Regulatory review process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required; advanced science or business degree a plus.

  • 8+ years Pharma marketing experience required.

  • Competency in core marketing capabilities including developing, implementing and optimizing marketing plans.

  • Experience leading personal and non-personal/digital promotion/marketing workstreams and tactics.

  • Strategic thinking and ability to concisely translate complex scientific topics to a wide range of audiences.

  • Experience leading or supporting strategic and tactical planning as well as execution.

  • Forward-thinking; ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without authority, including timeline and budget management.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work within deadlines, professionally managing competing priorities.
