Role Summary

Provide day-to-day leadership and management of the U.S. Monogastric Sales Team focused on sales to producers and channel distribution partners in the poultry & swine segments.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Deliver defined targets for revenue and profitability for Arm & Hammer feed additive sales in poultry & swine in the U.S.

  • Define sales targets for each Account Manager and provide support to help them achieve those targets.

  • Guide the team of Account Managers in developing and executing account plans to meet their individual targets.

  • Use the CSP Sales process to coach and drive the sales process through pre-call planning, preparation meetings, and sales process execution.

  • Utilize CRM system to ensure team use of CRM to capture critical customer data, lead generation, opportunity conversion, and sales performance data.

  • Establish and initiate marketing communication requirements within the targeted market.

  • Travel 50 - 75%.

Education and Experience

  • BS or MS degree from an accredited institution in one of the following areas: Animal Science, Ag Economics, Ag Marketing, or a related degree.

  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience selling in the feed additive or animal health industries.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships, handle multiple priorities and work in a self-direct manner.

  • Proven track record of achieving top-line and bottom-line growth results is required.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading a team is required, with strong preference for doing so in the feed additive or animal health segments.
