Sr Administrative Assistant - Central Campus
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative assistance in supporting the Provost and the Provost staff in the following areas of responsibility:
- Coordination, processing, and maintaining various computer-based files in assisting the Provost office direct reports in the management and campus oversight of personnel, payroll, finance, maintaining and ordering office/meeting supplies, all office management functions, budget development, various calendar events/meetings, travel arrangements, room reservations, maintenance/media activities, renovations/construction projects including and keeping campus informed of all related activities.
- Providing administrative assistance on all aspects of budget development, allocation, and management processes for the campus.
- Providing administrative assistance in the travel reimbursements of approved faculty professional development travel, departmental travel, and distinguished faculty travel.
- Provide administrative assistance in review and processing of semester Banner download of reports and loads/payroll reviews.
- Provide administrative assistance in the strategic planning and research in support of campus decision making.
- Maintaining excellent working relationships with internal/external groups and professionals supporting the above areas.
- Providing administrative assistance in personnel related processes such as reviews, load/payroll reviews, SOS Counterpart updates, interviews, budget development.
- Provide the Provost office administrative assistance with various student reviews/appeals, Summer Camp certification tracking process, Summer Sick leave reviews, Organizational/Emergency updates, full-load adjunct processing, Provost/community hosted events, College Community assistance, labor/stipend reviews/reports, Foundation Office support as requested, CCSSE distribution and collection, and various internal/external meeting preparation, minute taker, and posting of minutes per College guidelines.
- Attend College mandatory training sessions and participate in training updates offered by the College.

- Actively participate in college related activities, business/community activities, meetings, committees, task forces, and councils in representing the office of the Provost to promote the mission and values of the college.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Outlook, Zoom
- Excellent telephone/e-mail etiquette and communication skills.
- Must be extremely accurate and have excellent proofreading and grammar skills.
- Must be able to work in a team environment, be flexible with good public relations skills.
- Work well with details and deadlines.

Required Education:
- High School or equivalent.
Preferred Education:
- Associate's Degree in Business, Office Administration, or related field.
Required Experience:
- Three (3) years of office clerical or administrative support experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Preferred Experience:
- Above requirements plus one (1) or more years in a higher education environment.
