Position Summary: The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, proper approval, and timely processing of all invoices. This role also involves fostering strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders, while providing support for month-end account reconciliations and responding to audit-related documentation requests. Essential Responsibilities: *Review, verify, and process invoices and expense reports in accordance with company policies. *Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents. *Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments (ACH, wires, checks). *Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies. *Maintain vendor files and ensure compliance with tax regulations (e.g., W-9s, 1099s). *Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve billing issues in a timely and professional manner. *Assist with month-end closing by preparing AP accruals and reports. *Maintain accurate and organized AP records and documentation. *Support internal audits and compliance with company financial policies. *Collaborate with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure proper documentation and approval workflows. *Reviews US and international expense reports and verifies company travel policy compliance *Publish monthly exchange rates Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills: *Associates Degree in Accounting or related major highly preferred *Strong Excel skills highly preferred *Prior experience with Great Plains and Concur preferred *Ability to communicate effectively and detail-oriented *Legally authorized to work in the United States Work Conditions: This role is an in-office position at Stereotaxis' headquarters.
