The Role

The AGT Commercial Excellence Function is tasked with building new operating models and operationalizing new capabilities to drive productivity gains in Sales and CS across all GTM segments - LE, MM, GPS, PS, WS. As the Sr Director of Commercial Excellence, you will be responsible for driving high-impact initiatives from concept through execution. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on project leadership, ensuring the initiatives and programs under your remit are not only well-designed but also delivered with speed, precision, and alignment across AGT and the wider organization.

The Sr Director reports to the Vice President of Commercial Excellence and plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing cross-functional initiatives and programs aligned to AGT's three-year strategic plan. The Sr Director is expected to manage 2-3 strategic initiatives / programs concurrently, often with cross-functional and executive-level visibility.

The Main Responsibilities

The Sr Director of COMMERCIAL EXCELLENCE will be responsible for leading cross-functional initiatives that support AGT's three-year plan and strategic objectives. Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Own the end-to-end delivery-from initial framing through execution, along with ensuring tracking, and business impact realization of new operating models, processes, and capabilities.
  • Develop and apply strategic frameworks with a focus on actionable insights and results.
  • Lead complex program / project management efforts, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure strategic initiatives are aligned and effectively integrated throughout the organization.Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify challenges, recommend solutions, and manage expectations. Anticipate customer/employee needs, recognize and act on opportunities to enhance experience.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee ongoing strategic review and continuous improvement processes to ensure continued relevance and impact.
  • Building and sustaining a high-performing team of highly skilled resources.
  • Mentor and support the strategic planning team, fostering a culture of innovation, analytical rigor, and strategic foresight.
What We Look For in a Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategy, operations, or project leadership roles with increasing responsibility.
  • Demonstrated success in leading strategic initiatives with measurable business impact.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, able to navigate complex challenges.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, capable of crafting and delivering persuasive narratives.
  • Thrives in an organization with high operational rigor, is a self-starter, and is agile
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple high-stakes initiatives simultaneously.
  • A proactive leader with a strong bias for action and a proven ability to drive results at pace.
  • Collaborative team player who excels at building trust and working across departments.
  • Thrives in an organization with high operational rigor, is a self-starter, and is agile
  • Champion for change, willing to challenge the status quo and push a team and the company beyond its comfort zone through compelling data, constant communication, and aptitude for building bridges across functions in the face of resistance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
