The designer will create, design and develop graphic/visual concepts and materials to contribute to the projection of a positive corporate image for sales, promotional and experiential events and footprints, meetings, audit visual and multi-image presentations. Included, but not limited to: sales collateral materials, advertisements, publication and advertising materials and all applications of the corporate logo for Associated Bank. Assist in the production of digital creative assets for marketing campaigns.

This person will also:

  • Create, design and develop graphic/visual concepts and materials, generate and recommend alternatives, set priorities for handling a variety of projects simultaneously and often under the pressure of deadlines. Revise and refine layouts as needed to meet objectives and requirements. Recommend appropriate paper stock and appropriate reproduction methods.

  • Fully develop selected creative concept into direct mail, brochures, posters, websites, email campaigns, websites and other media as determined by the creative team.

  • Determine project objectives in detail and prepare specifications for production and obtain cost estimates as needed. Participate in promotional ideation.

  • Apply the skills of drawing (by which ever means applicable) simple illustrations used for production or simple client review.

  • Specify and resource photographic needs for execution or perform photographic work personally.

  • Review press and pre-press samples to ensure specified quality and production meets standards. Proof completed jobs before and after the printing process.

  • Work with the marketing services specialist or manager to coordinate the scheduling of marketing/customer communications, including the merchandising program.

  • Maintain file of job orders and samples.

  • Participate in corporate identity and brand reviews. Serve as advocate for adherence to brand guidelines and usage.

  • Resolve and advise supervisors regarding complex design problems including online print ordering and internal communications web; including inventory management, online store-front, production and production schedules, review, organization of tables and contents.

  • Maintain up-to-date expertise on design techniques to include technology, printing techniques, pre-production innovations, etc. Develop professionally by honing skills and knowledge within the graphic and digital design realms.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Graphic Design. Required

Experience

  • 2-4 years Graphic design field. Knowledge of design, layout, photography, typography, printing processes including paper selection, four-color separation and computer graphics. Required
