Overview Check out this new position! Satellite Engineering Intern Astrion is seeking ambitious aerospace, electrical, and/or mechanical engineering students with an interest in satellite engineering, design, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE). This position is in Albuquerque, New Mexico as part of our contract with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), specifically the JETSON program, a high-power portfolio mission. What you will do Applicants should be interested in developing MBSE skills and practices for a government program in its concept development phase. This is a full-time position and offers a flexible work schedule. Start date for this position will depend on the candidate's availability. Qualifications and Preferred Skills Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in any engineering field (high school diploma required) Experience in space or aerospace conditions, systems, operations, and industry Experience in MBSE basic concepts and process Experience in spacecraft mechanical design including identification, analysis, and evaluation of COTs components, and part library maintenance Experience in electrical or electronics industry Ability to work in both a team environment and independent projects or tasks Experience in SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software and design Requirements Onsite work on Kirtland, AFB; must have independent transportation Proof of U.S. Citizenship Ability to pass a U.S. government background investigation Join Astrion and Be the Difference in your career and the world!
