The Deal Team Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the Deal Team, ensuring efficient processes, accurate reporting, and effective support for the sales force including successful management of the quote to invoice lifecycle. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the construction/equipment industry.

The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.

Essential Functions:



  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission.
  • Hires, develops, evaluates and influences effective and consistent productivity.
  • and teamwork to ensure the delivery of Legendary Customer Service (LCS).
  • Responsible for quoting more than $1B of revenue.
  • Monitors and analyzes deal team performance metrics, generating reports and insights for senior management including accuracy on quotes, turnaround time on quotes, modification requests, and workflow assignments on incoming requests by driving dynamic sales solutions.
  • Collaborates with the Sales Team, Inventory, Marketing, and Business Performance to identify and resolve operational challenges resulting in growth of our sales volume and profitability through the management of efficient and accurate quoting processes that maximizes support and sales velocity.
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of sales quotes to remove administrative constraints and maximize customer facing activities for the sales teams.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of Deal Team training programs.
  • Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Ability to lead a team to results.
  • Knowledge of Compact Construction, Earth Moving and Excavation equipment.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment sales industry.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Advanced computer and related software application skills.
  • Intermediate understanding of business accounting principles.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong decision-making and judgment skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with outside individuals, groups, and cross functional teams.
  • Ability to work in fast paced, dynamic environment.


Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or related field required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a sales operations team required; experience in the construction/equipment industry preferred.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills required.


Supervisory Responsibilities:



  • This position directs and manages employees within applicable area of responsibility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and development; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Travel:



  • Up to 10% travel may be expected.

  • This position involves extended periods in a stationary position.
  • Occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.

  • This position frequently communicates with Sales Team, Marketing, and Finance Teams; Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Occasionally moves or transports items weighing up to 10 lbs.


Work Environment:



  • This job is generally performed in a professional office, in environmentally controlled conditions.
  • Frequently works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
