Summary:

The Customer Engagement Representative serves as the primary contact to SKF customers. The Customer Service Rep is responsible for reviewing customer purchase orders and transmitting the requirements throughout the repair station through the creation of work packages. This role will also serve as a back up for the supply chain planner.

Key responsibilities:

Customer Service Support



  • Serve as the backup contact to the customers


  • Review Purchase Orders for compliance and repair requirements


  • Create workflow packages for incoming purchase orders


  • Assist with placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges


  • Establish/maintain business relationship with customer to provide feedback with records


  • Verifies capability approval prior to acceptance and work start


  • Verifies return to service content is specified correctly


  • Open and maintain customer accounts by recording account information


  • Process customer price adjustments and credits


  • Assist in the implementation of best-practices and digitalization of work packages and production flow


  • Back-up point of contact for shipping broker for international customers


  • Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information


  • Resolve customer complaints via phone and email




Material Coordinator



  • Collaborate with the supply chain planner to identify and maintain necessary components.


  • Distribute required component quantities to production personnel.


  • Measure incoming components to verify they meet specified dimensions.


  • Assist in the management of on-site physical inventory.


  • Support activities to maintain data quality and integrity within site systems


  • Receive and stock components as they arrive.


  • Update material tracking system regularly


  • Perform daily cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.


  • Relabel boxes and inventory as components are pulled.


  • Restock shelves with unused inventory daily.


  • Outsource work to company suppliers.





Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing process and planning requirements

Education



  • Must have a HS diploma or GED


  • Must be able to demonstrate exceptional computer skills


  • Minimum 3 years in a customer-service oriented environment


  • Manufacturing/aerospace knowledge of FAA repair station regulations is preferred


  • Work authorization/security clearance requirements


  • Must be a US citizen or green card holder
