Overview

Astrion is looking for a skilled Technical Program Manager to lead the strategic development and execution of projects aimed at designing, developing, producing, testing, deploying, and sustaining advanced Electronic Warfare assessment capabilities. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in EW systems and a proven track record in strategic planning and program execution.

  • Develop comprehensive business strategies for EW capability lifecycle management.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and market trends to integrate into strategic planning.
  • Oversee the design and development of EW systems, ensuring that program objectives and specifications are met.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve milestones in system development, production, and testing.
  • Direct the testing of new EW systems to ensure they meet operational and performance standards.
  • Manage the deployment of EW capabilities, coordinating with operational units for seamless integration.
  • Establish programs for the ongoing support and sustainment of EW systems, including lifecycle management and modernization efforts.
  • Ensure that EW capabilities remain relevant and effective against evolving threats.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-related activities, liaising with senior management, stakeholders, and partners.

Other skills, traits and educational requirements you will need:

  • Extensive experience in program management within the defense sector, specifically in Electronic Warfare.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with an ability to lead complex projects from conception to fruition.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with an ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Active Top Secret, preferably TS/SCI
