The Job

This role is for a strategic Senior Manager, HR Systems who primarily focusing on Workday and few other minor HR software. Overall objective of this role is to lead the small team, build a strategic HR systems roadmap, develop robust architecture, design and deliver solutions primarily focusing on Workday HCM, Benefits and compensation modules. The ideal candidate must have hands-on configuration experience in Workday for a large-scale healthcare environment and will partner closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient solutions.

You Will

Serve as subject matter expert on Workday HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Reporting and few other modules

Design, architect, troubleshoot and maintain Workday system

Tenant management, planning and deployments, manage biannual workday releases

Have a passion for emerging trends, proactively identify and implement emerging technologies, artificial intelligence and robotic process automations

Serve as an internal advisor for Workday, partnering with cross functional teams to provide technology support, best practices and guidance

Have an edge for process improvement, constantly identify process improvements by effectively documenting current state, analyze the gaps and recommend solutions or enhancements

Collaborate with HR operations, Payroll, Finance, and Total Rewards teams to lead annual cycles, including managing timelines, stakeholder management, requirements gathering, implement solutions that are in compliance

Have high degree of focus towards employee experience, prepare and come up with employee experience guidelines. Design and develop solutions in line with the guidelines and be a strategic advisor for other teams/members on employee experience.

Participate in various testing to ensure quality work product is delivered and participate in other workstream's testing.

Own, collaborate or participate in establishing shared services, HR systems, process and data governance activities as needed. Collaborate, and/or participate in People

Analytics, setting up dashboards and generating insights for data driven decision making.

Your Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Workday certification strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of Workday HCM configuration experience
  • Experience leading and performing Workday application control reviews, risk assessments, deep knowledge of segregation of duties, sensitive access, and experience in user access security reviews
  • Must have strong expertise in three or more functional areas - Workday HCM, Benefits, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent Management, PEX
  • Strong knowledge of workday implementation methodology, and Phase-x implementations.
  • Proficient in Workday Reporting, calculated fields, EIB processing and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast pace environment, be able to handle multiple conflicting priorities effectively via effective prioritization
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills - able to translate between technical and business groups, bring forward a vision or opinion
