Position Summary: The fixed asset accountant is responsible for recording cost of newly acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible), tracking existing fixed assets, recording deprecation, amortization, interest expense, accounting for the disposition of fixed assets and reconciling the general ledger. The fixed asset accounting position is also responsible for registration, tracking, and filing of all state and federal regulatory requirements and taxes. Duties & Responsibilities:
