Job Title: Credit Analyst
Department: CLC V (Carrollton Office)

We are looking for a Credit Analyst in the Carrollton Office to join our CLC V team. Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is preferred. This entry level position is ideal for individuals who are looking to build a career in lending. The Credit Analyst is responsible for underwriting, documenting, processing, and maintaining lending products and loan files. Assist in evaluating loan applications, analyzing financial data, and supporting the CLC V lending team in making informed credit decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist underwriting commercial loan products following the bank's loan policy and procedures, and general prudent lending practices.
• Perform credit analysis and spreads on financial information; and communicate with Lending manager on loans.
• Perform site visitations to new borrowers and existing borrowers.
• Prepare and review files for policy, regulatory, and documentation compliance, including equal credit, fair credit reporting, BSA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Follow up with tickler items.
• Provide good service to all clients and potential clients of the bank, as needed as required for obtaining necessary documents for other departments of the bank.
• Maintains high level of awareness in areas of regulatory compliance, loss prevention, security matters and adherence to Bank's policies and procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience required.
• Prior experience in banking and/or lending preferred, but not required.
• Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
• Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or client complaints.
• Present a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental, and external representatives.
