Full-time College Campus Security Officer-2nd shift

Looking for a full-time campus security officer for Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa. Opening is for 2nd shift Friday-Tuesday, with Wednesday/Thursday off.

$18 an hour.
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, as well as no disqualifying criminal convictions.

Please note that this position is physically demanding, and includes exposure to all types of weather conditions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor campus to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of campus rules and regulations
- Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any campus issues
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to handle physical demands of the position
• Strong attention to detail

• Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
