Summary

12 month temporary assignment with EHS team onsite 5 days a week in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

Responsibilities

* Ensure the workplace is adhering to all EHS regulations and company procedures.

* Provide support and leadership in various EHS related projects and tasks.

* Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS written programs, procedures, and work instructions.

* Perform ergonomic assessments and identify improvements.

* Lead and conduct comprehensive safety audits utilizing EHS software tools.

* Analyze audit results to identify areas of improvement and develop corrective actions, as needed.

* Develop and implement EHS training programs.

* Assist in coordinating, scheduling, and delivering EHS-related training programs. Track training completion and maintain training records.

* Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes.

* Oversee the compliance calendar and prepare reports, such as OSHA logs.

* Conduct and document regular risk assessments, job safety analysis (JSAs), and other safety evaluations to identify potential hazards and implement effective mitigation strategies.

* Participate in EHS committee meetings.

* Manage and ensure the proper operation of the Chemical Management System and ensure compliance with relevant chemical safety regulations.

* Help implement a strong EHS culture across the organization

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in an EHS-related field or a related discipline

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)

* Familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulations and other applicable EHS laws and guidelines

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

* Will be required to stand, sit, and walk for long periods of time (e.g., facility audit may require several hours of walking).

* Occasional business travel may be required.

* Preferred experience with ISO 45001

* 3-5 years of EHS experience

* EHS related certification, preferred

Recruiting Range
$90,000 - $130,000 USD
