SUMMARY: An Emergency Management (EM) Analyst supports all DAF Emergency Management, CBRN defense, and Emergency Management career field programs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In this specific role, the EM analyst will assist with the development, maintenance, and sustainment of Emergency Management career field unit type codes (UTCs) and other equipment assets. This position will have supervisor responsibilities. Essential Job Functions
- Provide reach back support for MAJCOM, AFIMSC detachments, and installations, offering technical guidance on Air Force Emergency Management career field and CBRN defense equipment.
- Prepare annual requirements, plans, and assist in managing execution of replenishment for Emergency Management UTCs.
- Evaluate modifications to existing plans in response to changing environments.
- Support in defining equipment requirements for Emergency Management personnel in the War Mobilization Plan, AF Force Generation (AFFORGEN) plan/pad, policy, and manpower determinants.
- Assist in development and implementation of new equipment concept of operations and fielding plans.
- Provide briefings and training to Emergency Management flight members on ARIS and DPAS.
- Conduct geospatial modeling/simulations of hazards/threats on lives, key resources, infrastructure, and missions.
- Assist in the development, coordination, and revision of Emergency Management Concept of Operations and Employment.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 years or more CBRN defense, disaster preparedness, emergency management related field experience or 10 years or more field experience required.
- SECRET or interim clearance or must meet eligibility for a U.S. Government security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for secret clearance.
- Intermediate Level Excel Skills (Data Entry, Formulas).
- Acute attention to detail & strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to work with constantly changing priorities.
- A current passport is required or must be acquired within the first 90 days of starting the position.
