SUMMARY: An Emergency Management (EM) Analyst supports all DAF Emergency Management, CBRN defense, and Emergency Management career field programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this specific role, the EM analyst will assist with the development and sustainment of an Emergency Management career field staff assistance program.

Essential Job Functions

• Establish, conduct, review, and update (as required) an EM Flight staff assistance visit (SAV) program.
• Schedule SAVs with EM flights and their leadership and assign SMEs on the floor to conduct the SAVs.
• Travel to installation EM flights to conduct SAVs when required or requested.
• Develop and sustain an approved method to track, monitor, and close identified findings or discrepancies within the SAV program.
• Provide force development expertise to the DAF Emergency Management SME, the Emergency Management Force Development Manager, and section leads with staff assistance metrics, questions, issues, and best practices.
• Conduct annual staff assistance actions and liaison with the AFCEC functional area records manager.
• Provide organizational skills to include task management, task priority identification, and suspense management and provide updates to division leadership.
• Additional duties and obligations outlined in the EM Support PWS, and assignments delegated by the DAWSON Contract Task Lead or DAWSON Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6 years or more CBRN defense, disaster preparedness, emergency management related field experience or 10 years or more field experience required.
• SECRET or interim clearance or must meet eligibility for a U.S. Government security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for secret clearance.
• Intermediate Level Excel Skills (Data Entry, Formulas).
• Acute attention to detail & strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to work with constantly changing priorities.
• A current passport is required or must be acquired within the first 90 days of starting the position.
