Summary:

The Associate Treasury Analyst is responsible for managing the debt portfolio, tracking daily cash movements, and assisting with joint venture distributions. Other responsibilities include supporting the Treasury Supervisor in debt analysis and interest rate risk.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Assist in managing Energy Transfer's debt portfolio, including revolving credit facility and senior notes. This includes monthly interest accruals, payoffs and quarterly/semi-annual interest payments. Prepare monthly debt schedules.
  • Prepare distribution schedules for Energy Transfer's joint ventures. Calculate totals, coordinate approvals, and release payment of distributions.
  • Coordinate quarterly debt tables and covenant analysis for financial reporting purposes. Review 10-K and 10-Q filings.
  • Assist in the management and execution of intercompany and joint venture financing activities.
  • Support management in the preparation and coordination of credit facility borrowing activities and schedules.
  • Identify, analyze and implement process improvements, including resolving complex Treasury issues and integrating new products into the current daily process.
  • Track daily cash movements, commercial paper issuance, treasury rates, foreign exchange rates, and bank fees. Prepare daily cash position.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:



  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related discipline
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Prior corporate finance, investment banking, or treasury operations experience preferred
  • Experience with midstream energy fundamentals and MLPs preferred
  • Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial analysis and modeling
  • Experience with Bloomberg Terminal preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • High level of communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly organized with the ability to perform multiple tasks
  • Self-starter with ability to learn quickly
