Job Description Summary The Maintenance Stockroom Coordinator role is responsible for maintaining an organized stockroom, ensuring the accuracy of the inventory management system (Maximo), and managing the procurement and distribution of supplies and materials. Key tasks include staging parts for scheduled work, tracking inventory records, conducting inspections, and collaborating with vendors, all while adhering to safety, GMP, and environmental standards. - Through the Maximo maintenance management inventory system, generate reports to monitor/order parts to meet the minimum/maximum levels of the departmental needs. Classifies new inventory, stocks parts, identifies potential inventory obsolescence; and provides inventory reporting/analysis upon request.
- Provides technical repair assistance, feedback related to proposed spare parts, and vendor relations to support various projects within the Plant.
- Ensures the efficiency of storeroom management through housekeeping, Maximo training for inventory usage and oversight
- Responsible for staging work-order kits to support the Plant's sanitation events
- Participates in network-wide emergency parts sourcing and through vendor research
- Responsible for placing purchase orders from submitted purchase requisitions, active participant on the Company's direct spend team.
- Research materials/sources for cost saving opportunities as applicable
- Proficiency with TKPro LOTOTO program
- Proficiency with Safety Data Sheet (SDS)
- Attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Request price quotes within Ocean Spray guidelines.
- Inspection of incoming materials and resolution of quality defects and quantity discrepancies with appropriate parties.
- Maintain security of the stockroom and materials stored within it.
- Maintain good GMP's in the outside storage areas.
- Analyze parts usage and supply trends to maximize efficiency
Identify stocking requirements and obsolete parts, reorder parts, recommended - inventory parts for new assets, etc.
- Participate in team process and maintain good customer, supplier, and employee relationships.
- Perform all work in accordance with GMP's, housekeeping, good safety practices, and environmental regulations.
- Assist other mechanics and electricians as required, but not performing Maintenance Tasks.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Possess solid computer skills (i.e. email, Maximo, OEE). * Proficiency in inventory management and computerized systems, particularly Maximo. * Strong organizational and record-keeping skills for accurate stockroom management. * Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with vendors, suppliers, and team members. * Analytical skills to assess inventory trends, resolve discrepancies, and optimize stock levels. * Commitment to safety, GMPs, and environmental standards. * Ability to stage and manage parts and materials, maintain stock security, and support procurement processes. * Adaptability to assist team members and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
