Software Engineer

We are seeking a versatile Software Engineer in our Waynesboro, PA facility who will support software development and customers' technical inquiries. The ideal candidate is eager to learn new technologies and work with both software and hardware components. This role requires hands-on experience with software development, embedded systems, and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain software using C, C++ and QT.

* Work with Linux-based systems, including Raspberry Pi and Beagle Bone.

* As a software engineer you will work closely with the electronics hardware engineers on projects.

* Address customer support-related technical issues and provide solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

* Familiarity with Debian based Linux environments.

* Basic knowledge of Raspberry Pi, Beagle Bone or Arduino platforms.

* Willingness to learn electronics hardware.

* 3D printing experience is a plus. Prototype hardware frequently makes use of in-house designed 3D parts.

* Python or Micro Python programming knowledge is a plus.

* Web content development experience is a plus.

Salary Range Disclaimer:The base salary range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.The range for this position is $80,000 to $105,000.
