*Description* Our client is looking for an experienced F5 Network Engineer to help support their load balancer platform migration and is responsible for providing support for their Load Balancing infrastructure. The main responsibilities for this role will include: *Build and Run of all F5 load balancer requests to include new VIP requests, Cert requests, DNS requests and Modifications. *F5 software upgrades *Build and Run Management platforms to include BIGIQ, AppViewX, VENAFI. *Plan Migration activity from old LB platforms to new LB platforms. *Experience using ServiceNow for ticketing and IT requests. *Excellent time management skills *Ability to work in fast paced environment. *Top Skills Details* ** Expert understanding of F5 platforms (old and new VELOS ) and loadbalancer solutions to include internal & external facing applications.* ** Deep understanding of data center networking and loadbalancer platform migrations.* ** Past experience building and deploying management load-balancer solutions such as AppViewX, BIGIQ and Venafi (add ons to VELOS)* ** In depth understanding of TCP/IP & UDP protocols.* *Additional Skills & Qualifications* - Experience with root cause analysis, risk mitigation, security assessments, analysis of security threats, trends and architecture - Functional knowledge of F5 advanced feature modules including Web Accelerator, Application Security Module, and Application Policy Module - Firm understanding of IT Service Management processes, ITIL Certification is a plus *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
