CrisisCare Center is a 24/7 behavioral health center that provides short term crisis management to an adult population.

Convenient downtown Tulsa location with 24/7 security on premises.

Cook Duties:

Cook consistently produces and serves quality meals for clients in CrisisCare Center.



  • Plan, coordinate, prepare and serve meals.
  • Create menu selections under the guidance of leadership.
  • Cook orders food and supplies under Supervisor direction.
  • Co- manage food and supply inventory including dishware and all cooking related equipment.
  • Maintain safety practices and quality health standards as required by the program and Tulsa City County Health Department.
  • Provide specific service delivery to the CrisisCare Center participants.
  • Prepare meals, snacks and sandwiches. Be able to modify orders in the event of additional needs.
  • Take daily sandwich inventory.
  • Keep dry storage area organized. Keep inventory rotated. Collect all dishware.
  • Cook provide guidance, instruction and direction to CCC staff when preparing and serving lunch and dinner meals.
  • Work collaboratively with the CCC staff to coordinate delivery of food service.
  • Provide specific meal serving preparation instructions (heating, if applicable) during times not on-site. Ensure meals are served during absence.
  • Cook maintains clean prep kitchen per TCCHD standards.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills.

Qualifications
Education
High School (required)
Experience
Active student in Culinary Arts Program or One-year experience working in a professional commercial kitchen
Food safety and sanitation
* Basic knife skills
* Cooking methods and techniques
* Working knowledge of kitchen tools and equipment (required)
Licenses & Certifications
Drivers License (required)
