Description

Purpose:Join our dynamic team at Berry Aviation as a Line Service Representative! In this part-time role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft services. You'll handle a variety of tasks including parking, refueling, baggage handling, and towing aircraft. You'll also greet and interact with customers, ensuring their experience is exceptional from arrival to departure. Responsibilities:



  • Aircraft Parking & Customer Interaction:Park aircraft and greet passengers and crew promptly and professionally.
  • Customer Service Duties:Perform requested services such as fueling and aircraft movements with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Professional Appearance:Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times with customers and colleagues.
  • Facility Maintenance:Clean and maintain buildings, fuel equipment, and ground servicing equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Fuel Management:Receive fuel, perform required tests, and maintain daily paperwork for quality checks.
  • Fuel Farm Operations:Fill Jet and Avgas trucks, maintain fuel and fluid levels for GSE, courtesy, and ramp vehicles, and assist with general fuel farm upkeep.
  • Specialized Functions:Serve as front desk back-up, manage fuel farm operations, provide on-the-job training (OJT) to less experienced representatives, and handle inventory control.
  • Safety & Security:Monitor ramp and facility for safety and security, assess situations, and respond appropriately.
  • Additional Duties:Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure smooth operations.


Compensation:



  • This is a part-time position starting at$15.00 per hour.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:



  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • Previous Line Service, aviation and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Commitment to safety and security procedures.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional appearance.


  • Experience with ground support equipment (GSE) is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work alternate shifts as needed.



Position Specific Requirements:



  • Licenses/Certificates: Forklift Certification; Tow qualified; FAR 139 Training qualified; (will provide on the job training for certifications and equipment handling)
  • Must be able to pass employment background check; valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Attendance: Regularly scheduled attendance required
  • Physical: Routinely lifts 50 lbs., occasionally lifts 100 lbs.; reads small print; hearing sounds associated with mechanical deficiencies; repetitive motion; works with moving parts and vibration; works in heights above four feet; tolerates standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and sitting
  • Environmental: Tolerates working in extreme temperatures and noisy environments
  • Work Schedule: Must be available for all shifts
