Family Nurse Practitioner Category: Healthcare Employment Type: Contract To Hire Reference: BH-384922 Nurse Practitioner needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Columbus, IN. This is a primary care clinic located at a manufacturing site. This is a full primary care center for 16-18 patients a day, ages 2 and up. NP will be responsible for acute and chronic care, well woman exams, and minor procedures. Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday 7am-6pm and Friday 8am-7pm with Saturday rotation every 8 weeks 8am-12pm Monday, Thursday, Friday 7am-6pm and Tuesday 8am-7pm. Saturday rotation every 8 weeks 8am-12pm Duration: 4 months with possible extension or direct placement Pay: $57-66/hr DOE What You'll Be Doing: Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of Physician. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs. Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition. Provides written home-going instructions. Collaborates with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan as necessary. Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures. Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment. Maintains medical records using (In some health centers it may be using Electronic Medical Record software). Educates and coaches nursing staff on best nursing practices.
