Currently, we have offices in Long Beach, Seattle, Irvine, San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Jose. P2S is seeking a Low Voltage Technology Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in telecom room, pathway, and communications cabling design, with experience coordinating with architects, design teams, and clients. As a Low Voltage Technology Designer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing in-building and outside plant communications cabling systems. Key Responsibilities: * Design and implement telecom room, pathway, and communications cabling systems. * Coordinate with architects, design teams, and clients to ensure seamless integration of low voltage systems into overall project designs. * Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for in-building and outside plant communications cabling systems. * Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. * Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in low voltage systems. * Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. * Conduct field assessments and inspections as needed. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field experience. * Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in low voltage technology design. * Knowledge of telecom room, pathway, and communications cabling design. * Experience coordinating with architects, design teams, and clients. * Knowledge of in-building and outside plant communications cabling design. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: * RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification. * Detailed design experience. * Field experience.
