Currently, we have offices in Long Beach, Seattle, Irvine, San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Jose. P2S is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical security systems design and project management, with a proven track record of producing detailed security design drawings and specifications. As a Senior Security Designer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our physical environments. Key Responsibilities: * Design and implement comprehensive physical security systems for various projects. * Manage physical security projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget. * Produce detailed physical security design drawings and specifications. * Coordinate with architectural, engineering, and client representatives to integrate security solutions seamlessly into overall project designs. * Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies. * Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures. * Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats. * Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security team members. * Participate in incident response and forensic investigations as needed. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Security Design, Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum of 10+ years of experience in physical security systems design and project management. * Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS). * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead project design discussions with clients. * Relevant certifications (e.g., PSP, CISSP) are highly desirable. Preferred Qualifications: * PSP (Physical Security Professional) certification. * Detailed knowledge of manufacturer offerings for video surveillance, access control, and intrusion systems. #LI-Hybrid #KW1 What sets P2S apart?
