Overview
The primary responsibilities of this position are to manage the company's relationship with the assigned customer. Responsible for providing operational assistance, support and guidance to Site Managers, site teams, and customers to achieve excellent safety results, customer satisfaction, and employee satisfaction while maintaining quality standards and meeting operational and financial goals. The Contract Manager will participate in the integrated business planning process with our Site Managers and external customers, and to continually strive to reduce costs and operate within an assigned budget. The position will provide customer technical advice on equipment and part purchases and repairs.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Support the overall company safety culture, set the example, hold team members accountable for safety behaviors and policies, and recommend areas for improvement.
- Foster a team environment at both the site and regional levels in support of overall company objectives.
- Oversees the business, financial and technical activities of Operations and Maintenance sites.
- Engage with the Business Development process, including contract review.
- Coordinate development of Site's annual operating plan and budget.
- Routinely review P&Ls for designated regional sites.
- Maintain client relationships and own overall end-to-end customer service experience.
- Plan, develop and implement systems and procedures to ensure the operating quality, environmental compliance, and safety of assigned sites.
- Generate and recommend purchasing approval in support of assigned sites.
- Establish site and Site Manager goals and conduct performance appraisals/reviews.
- Recommend recognition and/or disciplinary action of personnel as necessary.
- Engage in compensation reviews and follow-up of annual employee increases per contract.
- Conduct regular relationship meetings with contract customers to ensure proper services are being provided and to determine prospects for future sales.
- Identify, monitor and evaluate Warranty Support opportunities at assigned sites.
- Compliance with company Safety program policies and procedures.
- Contribute to potential sales opportunities to include reading and understanding RFPs, writing RFP responses, assessing headcount needs, and determining capital and contractual requirements to follow through with a new contract.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under the employer's insurance policy.
- In coordination with Site Managers, approves and drives business decisions of the sites, including maintaining financial overview of the contract.
- Responsible for establishing priorities and long-term planning in order to establish goals which support the Company's strategy and vision; directs and modifies, as required, the work methods and processes to meet these goals.
- Manage and establish a professional working relationship with the customer and our organizations, and develops a core understanding of the unique business needs.
- Assist the customer to ensure they understand the operation and receive the desired outcome.
- Assist the customer and vendors regarding purchasing of parts and equipment while requiring the customer to make the final decision.
- Assist customer in analyzing the costs of maintenance and parts.
- Assist customer in technical advice and support when purchases new equipment.
- Serves as Company's representative at the site. Conducts relationship meetings with contract customers on a regular basis to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and quality standards are being rendered and the prospects for future sales. Manage multiple relationships in a contract customer base, to include the corporate level.
- Guides and directs the Site Managers and Supervisors to ensure effective programs are in place and followed in order to consistently provide quality service to our customer.

- Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, state, local, and Company safety laws, regulations, policies, and procedures on site and at any remote job site. Coordination of safety matters with Company Safety Officer.
- Conducts periodic site evaluations and audits.
- Is involved in the day to day business to include being proactive and creative.
- Train and develop personnel in critical positions for succession planning and to fill unexpected vacancies
- Maintain site morale and customer satisfaction by keeping the customer in mind and by keeping the interests of the company at heart.
- Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Qualifications
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 4 year college degree in a business-related discipline and/or 4 years' equivalent work experience in a related field. (May be superseded by higher contract requirements)
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Travel up to 50%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess OSHA 10 or 30 certification
- Documented evidence of Project management or Organizational Development Experience,
- Minimum 4 years leadership experience or
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a service industry or
- Minimum 4 years' experience in preparing and managing budgets
- Combined 6 years' experience in above three areas if minimum 4 years in any one cannot be met.
- Supervisory experience in an Airport environment

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), E-Mail, scanning and copying equipment. Other Requirements:
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under the Company's insurance policy
- Must be able to comply with the company's Drug and Alcohol policy.
- Must be able obtain and maintain an Airport Security badge

Additional Responsibilities
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Varies between an office environment as well as all areas located on Airport property. May be around dust, dirt, moving machinery, temperature changes, heights and noise levels below OSHA minimum requirements. Use of PPE is required.
