This Position reports to:

Local President, US Traction

Your role and responsibilities:

The Associate Project Manager supports project managers and teams in the planning, execution, and completion of projects. This role involves coordinating tasks, managing resources, and ensuring project goals are met on time and within budget.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while facilitating communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Tracking project milestones and deliverables, ensuring adherence to schedules by identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and project plans to provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and issues.
  • Leading the execution of small projects with low complexity and ensuring that all related activities are executed in accordance with requirements.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Engineering) with minimum 2 years of experience in project management and proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices with the capability of handling multiple projects concurrently.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Preferred Experience Includes:

  • Previous experience working within engineering/production/manufacturing set up and deliv-ery.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel, SAP, PowerBI).
  • PMP or Lean Six Sigma - Certifications
