JOB SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, comparing, and maintaining data associated with key risk indicators as part of First Line of Defense monitoring for the Customer Support Center Design metrics, reporting, trending, to identify strengths/weakness, as well as future opportunities.

On an on-going basis, this position supports the evolution of First Line of Defense to meet the Organization's evolving business needs. Consistently gains the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Analysis:



  • Collects, documents, and analyzes data to assess performance and compliance with bank procedures, regulations, service standards and management policies.
  • Performs trend analysis on collected data across the Customer Support Center Business Unit
  • Completes First Line of Defense Risk Assessments of key operating practices and customer experience expectations.
  • Completes First Line of Defense Risk Assessments on key regulatory processes that impact Customer Support Center Business Unit in partnership with Corporate Compliance
  • Establishes schedule for Regulatory and Operational risk monitoring.
  • Develops reports encompassing trends that is in a format that is meaningful to Community Banking and Customer Support Center Senior Management.
  • Proactively identifies key risks and establishes monitoring criteria to measure adherence to stated procedures.
  • Participates in projects to determine if initiative warrants the develop of revised or new monitoring activity to measure performance.
  • Proactively reviews current processes working with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements to ensure compliance adherence and operational soundness.


Operations:



  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, BSA/AML Program, audit procedures, dual control, security, Business Continuity, and all other regulated banking requirements. Completes assigned Compliance Training.
  • Responsible for reviewing and adhering to bank operational procedures and controls while communicating updates to associates.
  • Adheres to the highest legal and ethical standards applicable to our industry while observing both the spirit and letter of all government regulations, laws and Seacoast Bank's policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct.
  • Follow all safety and security procedures.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of the following preferred:

    • Report writing or data analytics experience; or a combination of directly related education and experience.
    • Experience in the banking or financial services industry with well-rounded exposure to banking operations.
    • Experience in the banking or financial services industry of risk management.


  • Must be proficient in PC functions including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and all bank related systems with the ability to learn other computer systems/programs quickly.
  • Excellent organizational skills with superior attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy
  • Excellent quantitative and quantitative analytical skills with developed problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills including the ability to build collaborative relationships, listen and actively contribute to discussions.
  • Proactive self-starter, with a keen eye towards continuous process improvement and the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
  • Demonstrate a consultative approach with the ability to analyze stakeholder's needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentially and handle sensitive situations with sold judgement and discretion.
  • Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis and develop business cases.
