This role is a cornerstone of our growth organization-balancing high-level strategy with hands-on execution across account planning, pipeline development, and customer engagement. The Role
You will serve as a trusted advisor and operational partner to the Chief Growth Officer, leading the orchestration of growth initiatives and ensuring alignment across teams. The ideal candidate brings not only a deep understanding of the full business development lifecycle but also a practical appreciation for how modern technologies, especially AI and automation, can enhance outcomes and drive efficiency across growth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee execution across account planning, pipeline development, capture, and proposal operations to support enterprise-wide growth goals.
- Partner with teams across Growth, Delivery, and the Innovation Lab to ensure seamless alignment on strategic pursuits and top-priority initiatives.
- Champion the integration of intelligent technologies, including AI-driven tools, to improve forecasting, market analysis, capture planning, and proposal delivery.
- Monitor industry trends and leverage data-driven insights to uncover new market opportunities and inform growth strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders to support business expansion and reputation.
- Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on growth opportunities, competitive positioning, and operational improvements.
- Drive continuous process optimization to enhance efficiency and scalability across the growth lifecycle.
- Define and track performance metrics aligned to the growth team's OKRs, delivering regular reports and insights to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in business development or growth-related roles within the government contracting space, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven ability to work across the full BD lifecycle-from strategic account planning through proposal development.
- Familiarity with the potential of AI and advanced analytics to enhance both external offerings and internal operations across growth.
- Demonstrated use of technology and tools to improve workflow efficiency, decision-making, and strategic outcomes.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines and motivate high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a history of building trusted internal and external relationships.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a data-informed approach to decision-making.
