Description
Aligned with the company's mission, vision, values, and strategy, you will inform, support, and shape the company's strategy and initiatives regarding its providers. Your responsibilities include developing, reviewing, and evaluating financial proposals related to contract negotiations with providers, and preparing, examining, analyzing, negotiating, and revising provider contracts and arrangements. You will be the primary point of contact for facilities and providers, focusing on financial and contractual matters and facilitating resolution for other provider issues. You will build partnerships and maintain positive relationships with facilities and providers through site visits, communication, negotiations, and responsive service. Provider Strategy You will actively participate in shaping, informing, leading, and implementing the company's overall strategy for providers. You will support and implement various strategic provider initiatives, working closely with other departments to coordinate and implement these initiatives. Responsibilities include: * Developing and evaluating financial proposals for provider negotiations, including value-based payment and alternative payment models. * Negotiating standard and nonstandard agreements with providers, ensuring alignment with provider strategy while mitigating legal, regulatory, and operational risks. * Monitoring and managing the disbursement of funds for contract obligations, evaluating program effectiveness, and communicating with executives. Relationship Management * Develop close partnerships with providers to drive the company's mission, vision, values, and strategy. * Monitor and evaluate the status of the company's relationship with providers to inform strategy. * Identify and coordinate the resolution of provider issues among internal and external stakeholders. Internal Partnering * Develop partnerships with various departments to continuously improve the company's provider strategy. * Coordinate provider contractual requirements to ensure proper implementation and administration. * Work with departments to ensure provider contracts meet requirements and provide quality, affordable care. Internal Operations * Maintain contractual records and documentation. * Ensure signed contracts are communicated to relevant parties for visibility and implementation. * Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration. * Prepare regular reports on the status of contracts and negotiations. Other Duties * Work on corporate initiatives, provide guidance on contract matters, and train new project stakeholders and employees in contracting practices. * Perform other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned. Skills * Negotiation skills * Account management * Provider relations * Provider service * Contract negotiation Additional Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor's degree and five years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Experience in a highly regulated industry. * Experience negotiating contracts and/or vendor/contract management. * Clear and concise communication skills. * Effective interpersonal skills. * Strong analytical, planning, and organization skills. * Excellent leadership skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
