We are looking for a bright, dynamic Senior Financial Analyst to join the Bio-Rad FP&A team at our corporate headquarters in Hercules, California.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be a key part of the Corporate FP&A team and work with a highly visible and fast paced HQ team on global consolidation activities. You will support global budgets, forecasts, monthly financial analysis and reporting, and provide ad hoc analysis for decision making support.

How You'll Make An Impact:



  • Prepare monthly business review package, quarterly CEO review package and Board of Directors' package.
  • Participate in EBITDA reporting process with non-GAAP methodology through collaboration with all Finance stakeholders, including Corporate ad hoc projects for business strategy development related reporting.
  • Support global FP&A teams in the annual operating budget and forecast processes, including OPEX variance analysis, global FP&A calendar, and AOP calendar.
  • Business Partnership and Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with Finance and non-Finance business partners. Proactive in exhibiting strong influencing capabilities with business partners and a willingness to maintain open and transparent communication across the organization.
  • Identifies business process improvement opportunities, develops solution options engages management and stakeholders to align on decisions, implements approved pan, and revises desk level procedures to reflect changes.


What You Bring:



  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance or related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • 8+ years experience in an accounting or finance role, either in public accounting or corporate finance; experience supporting any of the following areas of business desired: SG&A, R&D, consolidations, commercial (sales), supply chain (manufacturing & logistics).
  • Detail oriented with attention to process and documentation in addition to accuracy.
  • Excellent Excel skills (PivotTables, Sumifs, Sumproduct).
  • Excellent written communication skills to clearly convey monthly reporting to stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate GAAP terms to non-accounting partners.
  • Ability to manage deadlines from multiple project streams.
  • Experience with Enterprise level Accounting and Planning software desired; Essbase and SAP preferred.
  • Hands-on; must have a willingness to become involved in the details of the operations to ensure accurate information is provided to the business partners.
  • PowerBI or related experience preferred.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $117,900 to $162,200 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
