We are hiring a local MES Project Manager to join our team in Appleton, WI.
Location: Appleton, WI (Hybrid) The MES Project Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing the implementation and management of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) across our production facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, particularly within the manufacturing sector, and a deep understanding of MES technologies and processes. *Responsibilities:* * *Project Planning and Execution:* Lead the planning, execution, and closing of MES projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client requirements. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. * *Stakeholder Management:* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify needs, define business opportunities, and develop delivery plans. Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. * *Team Leadership:* Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and production staff, to ensure successful project delivery. Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. * *Risk Management:* Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to MES projects. Develop and maintain risk management plans to ensure project success. * *Quality Assurance:* Ensure that all MES implementations meet established quality criteria and value determination measures. Conduct lessons learned sessions to incorporate client feedback and enable continual service improvement. * *Budget Management:* Oversee project budgets, ensuring that expenditures are within approved limits. Monitor project financials and provide regular updates to stakeholders. * *Documentation and Reporting:* Maintain updated project documents, including contracts, interim correspondence, task plans, and status reports. Ensure transparency about project progress and roadblocks. *Qualifications:* * *Education:* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred. * *Experience:* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on MES or similar manufacturing technologies. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget. * *Technical Skills:* Strong understanding of MES technologies and processes. Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and MS Office. * *Soft Skills:* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Strong organizational and time management skills. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
